Programme Description :
The course will enable the students to understand the
inter-relationship between Food, Nutrition and Health and understand the
knowledge of food science and the changes occurring during food preparation.
Students will learn the fundamentals of metabolic processes / pathways
occurring in the body understand their significance be able to apply the
significance of these processes to different physiological / metabolic
conditions.
Programme objectives :
