Programme Description :

The courses offered under this Programme will enable the learner to get exposure to the functions of Textile and Fashion industry. This Programme will also help the learners to get technical know-how in the related areas of textiles, fashion, apparel production, Merchandising, Fashion illustration, Indian Embroideries, Traditional Textiles, and Chemical Processing.

Programme objectives :

To promote an understanding of core subjects of textiles and clothing.
To provide hands-on experience skills-based training through the course as well as artisans of paramparik karigar.
To prepare graduates for a career in Textiles, Fashion, Apparel, and Retail-related Industries.
To provide strong research experience and expand the opportunity to opt for higher education and further research.
To enable graduates to create self-employment opportunities by equipping them with the necessary skills.
To impart an understanding of the emerging themes in Textiles and Apparel Design.
