PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION MEET REPORT

The first meeting of PTA was organized on 19th July, 2008 in the college hall. The PTA meeting is organized to bridge the gap between the parents and the institute. Mrs. Veena Verma spoke about PTA and aims and objectives of PTA. The main agenda of the meeting was:

• Orienting the parents regarding college, rules and regulations, curricular, co curricular and extracurricular activities and general discipline.

• To formulate new executive committee of PTA for the year 2008 – 2009.

• Awareness programme on Right to Information.

The programme started with the lecture on titled “Making the Educational system Transparent and accountable through the Right to Information Act” by Dr. G. Ramachandram, Principal, Kandivali Education Society’s Shroff College of Arts & Commerce. Parents found the talk very informative.

Mrs. Vinaya Vaishampayan, Class teacher of FY . BSc, spoke on B.Sc degree course, exam procedure and about students support services like mentoring, counseling etc.
