• The college offers value added courses related to computers to enhance the market value of students, thus enabling them to meet the demands of the industry. In order to ensure computer literacy among all students, a course in Basic Computer knowledge is offered to all first year students of B.Sc. The college also implements a long term program of 100 hours of computer education for all three years.
For students of computer applications, Computer Graphics and Web Designing is taught at first year level, while VB.Net is taught at second year level and ASP.Net is taught to third year students.

A series of workshops on soft skills were conducted in collaboration with the Aviation Careers Academy.
• We are living in a globalised world and knowledge of foreign languages is essential. Therefore BCA students have the opportunity of learning French (SY BCA) and German (TY BCA).

Remedial classes/ Bridge course

Remedial classes are also conducted for FY B.Sc. and FY B.C.A students who lack fluency in English and have a poor command over the language. These lectures enable them to strengthen their grammar so as to ensure their competency in other subjects as well. It also develops confidence in the students during presentations wherein they have to express themselves in English. Similarly remedial classes are organized for those students who are weak in applied science or who come from non-science backgrounds at junior college level.
• A Bridge course in mathematics is offered for FY.BCA students who have not studied mathematics as a subject 11th and 12th standard. These classes enable students to cope with the high level of mathematics in their syllabus. The course is mandatory according to the rules and regulations of the university.
