Placement Record : Students have been placed in Kaya life, K11, Body Zone , Power house, Talwalkars, VLCC, Tarla Dalal, Asian Hospital, Nanavati Hospital, Lilavati Hospital, Somaiya Hospital, Maricos, Leena Mogre's Fitness Centre, Anjali Mukherjee, Parekh Hospital, BMN college, SNDT P.G dept etc.
Collaborative Projects : A collaborative project with Marico industries on Sensory Evaluation of Indian recipes made out of Saffola Atta mixes. 2008-09. Sensory Evaluation was done of certain Marico Products in 2009-2010.
Highlights : Students have been recipients of K.U. Naram Awards by Association of Food Scientists & Technologists (Mumbai Chapter) at ITC.
Students have participated in paper presentation in National Seminar & Workshops and International Exhibitions such as Panacea at World Trade Center.
Workshops & Seminars conducted: Department has hosted 2 National Level Seminars in which students have presented Posters. Subject experts are invited , Alumni are invited as resource persons. Extension & Community Management programmes are organised.
Internship placement for 4 weeks.
Collaborative projects with Rotary Club of Sion & Vashi have been undertaken

About 70% & above go for further studies every year.
